Welcome to my gift guide for 2024 where you can find a range of gifts for the whole family.
While Christmas is the most wonderful time of year, it does take a lot of planning. One of the things that I find the most tricky is knowing what to buy for everyone on my gift list.
Hopefully, this post will help you find some ideas for some of the more difficult family members that you need to buy for.
It will also offer inspiration for stocking fillers, items you can add to a Christmas hamper, and games for family fun.
Christmas Gift Guide 2024
Gifts For The Kids
First up are my top picks for the kids. I’ve tried to keep them as budget-friendly as possible and have included things I’ll give to my two little ones aged six and one this Christmas.
Foldable Scooter From Skates.co.uk
First up is this funky purple foldable light-up scooter.
We chose this model as our daughter wanted something a bit more grown-up but her balance skills aren’t quite ready for two wheels yet. The rainbow-coloured lights were a big hit!
Skates.co.uk offer a huge range of scooters, roller skates, skateboards and accessories so if you have a keen skater to buy for this Christmas you are sure to find something suitable.

Gruffalo Chocolates From Cocoba
How adorable are these Gruffalo Chocolates? We are big Julia Donaldson fans in our house and these are perfect for Christmas Eve boxes or stocking fillers, especially when paired with some Gruffalo Pyjamas.
The collection includes:
- Gruffalo Hot Chocolate Stirrer
- Gruffalo Hot Chocolate Spoons (4pk)
- Gruffalo Chocolate Character Bites
- Gruffalo Hot Chocolate Bomb With Marshmallows (also available as a 3pk)
You can purchase the products here: Gruffalo Chocolate Range from Cocoba
My Parents Might Be Martians Board Game
If you love board games but not the hefty price tag, then I have the perfect game for you.
This game is similar to Articulate, with the twist being that grown-ups can only use one-syllable words to try and get the children to guess the word they are describing.
It’s fab for building teamwork and gameplay is quick enough that little won’t get bored.
This game was just £3.80 when I purchased it, and while the price has since increased, it’s worth keeping an eye out or adding to your wishlist, especially with Black Friday just around the corner.
You can purchase the game here: My Parents Might Be Martians
Sweet Treats With Swizzels
Christmas isn’t complete without some sweet treats and Swizzels have a fabulous range suitable for little kids and big kids alike.
The Swizzels range starts from as little as £1.15 so is perfect for those on a budget this year.
My top picks are these limited edition Squashies Naughty and Nice elf sweets, which would make a nice treat when the naughty elves arrive on December 1st.
I’ll also be gifting (to my twenty-year-old brother!) some Squashies Original Raspberry & Milk Flavour Drumstick sweets which make a great alternative to boxes of chocolates.
You can purchase the Swizzels gift range on their website or from your local supermarket.
Gifts For Friends & Family
These are my gift ideas for your wider friends and family. Once again they range in price from something a bit special to items that would be perfect for Secret Santa.
Birthday Card Organiser
A birthday card organizer makes the perfect thoughtful and practical gift for anyone who loves to stay organized or enjoys giving personal, handwritten notes.
This handy organizer helps keep track of important dates, ensuring that no birthday is forgotten, and it provides a special place to store cards for each occasion.
Especially useful for older relatives who may enjoy sending cards but are unable to get out and about as often as they like.
When gifting this organiser I’ll be including some cards from Whistlefish (their two tins of ten cards for £10 is amazing value) and you could also add some stamps to complete the gift.

This bracelet features lava stones that can be infused by dabbing with the included essential oil.
As the wearer goes about their day, the fragrance is slowly released, providing a subtle and refreshing scent.

Flower Delivery Or Subscription
When it comes to Christmas gifts, a beautiful bouquet of hand-picked seasonal blooms is a great choice so why not try a British flower delivery by LOV Flowers?
And if you want to go that extra mile for someone you love, you could even consider a flower subscription service as a gift, where your lucky recipient will receive a bunch of flowers each week or month for a designated period.
Flowers make a great gift for those trying to avoid clutter or that would prefer a more sustainable present.
Gorgeous Scented Candle From The Copenhagen Company
For a truly delightful gift, look no further than this Copenhagen Company candle.
It creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxation making it an ideal choice for anyone who loves a little luxury in their daily routine.
I especially loved that I could smell the candle before I had even opened the box! I opted for the Rhubarb & Peony scent as I prefer floral notes, however, there are plenty of other options including a Christmas candle and reed diffuser.

Preserved Fruit Jars From Oppies
Preserved fruit jars are a charming and versatile addition to any kitchen.
These beautifully sealed jars, filled with fruits preserved in alcohol offer both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality.
Opies preserved fruits make an original addition to any food hamper, which I know many people make as gifts at Christmas time.
These indulgent fruits can be eaten as they are (these fruits would be a very indulgent Christmas day breakfast topped with some yoghurt and granola!) and can also be used in various recipes – my top pick would be using the cherries as a filling for a cherry pie.
The full Opies range can be purchased at www.bennettopie.com
Soothing & Relaxing Microwavable Body Wrap
Microwavable body wraps are becoming increasingly popular due to their ease of use and therapeutic benefits – this one comes infused with Lavender essential oil for an extra soothing effect.
Benefits of a heated body wrap include:
- Helps you to relax
- Relieves aches and pains
- Can be used for hot or cold therapy
- Easy to use
- Suitable for use with sports injuries
- Meets all relevant safety requirements
